Growth International - organisational and personal development

Awards

We rarely apply for awards - we would rather just get on it! However, there is one organisation that we are big fans of here: Business in the Community (www.bitc.org.uk). BiTC is a membership organisation of 750 of the largest companies in the UK. Not surprisingly we aren't members (yet) but support their work to encourage businesses (of any size) to integrate community and environmental activity into their strategy. BiTC organises a number of awards and we have applied for two.

Growth International has been awarded a Big Tick by Business in the Community under the category npower business Impact on Society Award for Small Companies. We were also shortlisted for both the National and London Small Company of the Year Awards. In 2005 we applied for CommunityMark and became only the second company after Capital Radio to be given this award after Capital Radio
